Thimbles are a critical component of spliced eyes in anchor rodes, mooring lines and other high load lines with spliced eyes. They relieve the strain on three strand and braided lines by maintaining a smooth radius and provide a metal chafe guard for shackles, metal eyes and other fixed connections. Our hot dipped galvanized thimbles meet national specifications and are available in a wide range of sizes for most line diameters.
